(More customer reviews)I've lost 2 when they shot out my cage when hitting a bump on a high-speed descent. Not a problem (and not unusual) with most bottles, but the plastic which makes up the top (the key portion of these bottles) is harder than yer average bottletop and shattered each time. I will get more but will most likely use the top on the bottle I have that doesn't come out of my cage so easily.
As to function: perfect. I load the canister with CarBoom (orange, MMMM) from the big CarBoom jug and stuck it in. During my ride, I grab the bottle and get water, gel or a nice combo of both. Hydration and fueling has never been easier. A great BONK preventer (and believe me, when I bonk, I'm DONE).
Truly, a great product, but I'm still miffed that I have to buy more.
