(More customer reviews)I bought this because it seemed like a really neat tool to bring along with me while camping.I was going to be a attending a week-long music festival where i would need to supply my own plate and utensils. It also happens that everything was spread apart far enough that i had to pack my bag each morning and carry supplies for the whole day.

When i first got it i thought it was really neat.
Yes the three pieces come apart, although once you have taken them apart they are far less comfortable to grip.
I was impressed with the quality of this set, although after field testing it, i was a bit disappointed in it's functionality.

It comes with a belt holster that i thought was pretty neat.The loop is attached on both ends though, so you have to take off your belt to take off the holster.Maybe i just wear my pants loose, but i found that it was too heavy to wear on my belt, as it tended to pull down my pants.I tried putting it in my pocket, but that was even worse.It then was banished to the backpack, where it tended to get lost in the bottom, but then again so did everything else.

My other main problem was washing it.The pieces come apart for easy cleaning, but then i had no way to dry it completely before putting it back together.So many nooks!I was pretty sure that since it was steel it wasn't going to rust, but i was still concerned about germs, I was camping after all, and washing my dishes in cold water.The case is pretty secure so i wasn't sure if it would ever dry out.I ended up licking it clean and not washing it because i figured that was better than letting it sit in a puddle all week.

This is a really nice set, but it's really heavy!
The Knife cuts great, everything worked wonderfully, but it was just too heavy and too high maintenance to carry around while camping.

I ended up buying a titanium spork for the next year.light and unbreakable, and it worked great.

i Really like this folding set, it's so neat, i just don't have a use for it...

(More customer reviews)You'd think that if you were going to put together a product that was asking customers to put out a price approaching thirty bucks that you would put just the tiniest bit of thought into engineering the thing, wouldn't you?

Sadly, the one thing that keeps this monster mug from earning the "awesome" title is that the lid simply does not line up properly with the body.With the top on tight, you lift the mug to your lips for drinking, and GULP! you have to hold the thing at an awkward angle. If the manufacturer had any brains, it would have taken almost no effort at all to ensure that the drinking hole lined up perpendicular to the handle, instead of canting off at a 30 degree angle forcing the user into an awkward hold instead of a natural bend. Certainly, the picture used to illustrate the product shows the flip-up sippy hole right where it should be for a right-handed drinker, but in reality, the "sippy hole" on my mug ends up being at the four o'clock position. The lip is too sharp to drink without the lid, and losing the lid means losing the thermo capability too, so that's a two-star drop in the review right there.

Otherwise, this big beefy man mug holds an ample serving of liquid refreshment and keeps it cold plenty long enough to finish the contents....even if you pass out in the middle and finish it the next morning. I'm sure it keeps drinks hot too, but seriously, do you think anyone who buys this giant "macho" mug is sipping tea?

There's a reason it looks so much like a beer keg.

(More customer reviews)I am an amateur endurance bicycle racer and ultra-marathoner. I was looking for a something other then my Camelbak to hold water/sport drink while running. My list of requirements was pretty simple. First, I didn't want to carry the weight of a filled back pack. Second, I wanted to be able to switch types of drinks (water/sport drink) on the go or have a quick fill up. The last item on my list was to have easy access to change my shirt. A bottle setup seemed the thing to buy. After a quick look around at the running shops in the area, I decided on the X-Trainer.

I couldn't have been more disappointed with its performance. The pack bounced when it was worn comfortably and in order to prevent the bouncing, the pack had to be worn uncomfortably tight. Even after adjusting the pack, including wearing it backwards the bottle kept ejecting itself from the pack. Which meant every so often I would have to stop and back track on the trail to pick up a bottle, including (one time) following it down a river to retrieve it.

Don't let Nathan see you coming like they saw me.

I only put this at two stars, because if you are just walking it might be what you are looking for.

Klean Kanteen Loop Cap/Polypro Review

(More customer reviews)After several months of owning a 27oz bottle with this cap, I wondered why the beverage tasted funny, here when I put it in the sink to wash it, the cap would suck in soapy water. I ended up drilling some holes in the bottom and could not believe all the soapy water that came out.I will now stick with the drinkable caps at least I know nothing is going to spoil my beverage.

Today, I used these socks for the first time, and already, the grippers (little rubber pads) are coming off on both the balls of the feet and heels. While seeing as how this is what I paid for and that this is what makes them useful for me during yoga, these socks are not going to serve their purpose. It seems they would only work a few times before essentially becoming normal toe-less socks.
