(More customer reviews)It doesn't add a lot of weight or size to the bottle, it stops the bottle from being cold to the touch, it prevents condensation from forming, and it keeps my water cool for a long time. I use a lot of Ice and it lasts quite awhile in the bottle. And even once the Ice is gone, the water will stay cool for quite awhile. The carrying strap is more convenient to grab than the loop that holds the top on the bottle (which I was using before).
The condensation not forming is a huge benefit, I can safely stick my Nalgene in my backpack without worrying about water getting everywhere.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it really looks like what it does in the picture which I think is pretty ugly. But this is definitely a case of function over form for me - I don't care how ugly it is as long as it continues doing what it does so well.
