(More customer reviews)I have a ton of these bottles that I bought at a health food store in TX a couple of years ago. I thought they were a good quality plastic and great for filtered water.However, today 4/9/08, on NBC they had a report about plastic bottles that are numbered 3, 6, and 7 (found in a triangle on the bottom of the bottle) and how they can possibly link canerous chemicals and other health related problems into your body, especially if they are microwaved or run in the dishwasher with harsh soap.I looked at all my bottles and they are all 7's (in the triangle is the #).Even my Starbuck's cup.I would NOT buy this until you know for sure what type of plastic (#) they are and until the problem is settled.
