The bottles are constructed from premium food/beverage grade 304 18/8 stainless steel. Stainless steel has an excellent resistance to staining and rust, and will keep your beverages fresh and sanitary. These reusable bottles are lightweight, easy to clean, durable, and will not react with acidic beverages. The bottles can be used with most cold and warm beverages, but should not be used with hot liquids. Open the cap carefully when used with carbonated beverages. The cap's dome cover keeps the drink spout clean and sanitary when not in use. The spout easily twists 1/4 turn to open. When closed, the cap is completely leak-proof. The caps are non-leaching, BPA-free #5 PP plastic, which creates a comfortable and non-toxic/non-leaching drinking surface. If you preferred, the cap can be removed for drinking straight from the bottle.Stainless steel is the material of choice among the food processing, dairy and brewery industries due to its durable, sanitary, and non-reactive properties. Our bottles and caps passed rigorous testing by an independent laboratory for both FDA and European Norm Food Container Standards. Easy to clean, the Tazzini water bottles can be put in the dishwasher, or washed by hand with a brush and mild soap. Tazzini bottles hold a generous 730 ml / 24.7 oz. The weight is the same or lighter than similarly-sized plastic bottles. The wide-mouth opening on the bottle is large enough to fit ice cubes or to pour in mixes.
