(More customer reviews)Before I bought this item, I called Trudeau to find out if it was dishwasher safe, since it didn't mention this in the description.I was told (twice) that it was.I was doubtful, but I ordered it anyway.The first thing I noticed upon opening the package was that it said on the packaging that it should not be placed in the dishwasher!!!But I proceeded to try it anyway, since I really liked the idea of a mister and a straw in the same bottle.No matter how I tried, I couldn't get the mister to work either.Nothing came out of the mister.But water leaked outwhere the top screws onto the bottle.In short, there is nothing to recommend this item.I'm debating whether to go through the hassle of returning it (is it worth the aggravation of shipping it back?). Not sure, but I thought I'd at least prevent someone else from buying it.
