(More customer reviews)Quite hefty and perfect for use as a water container or for any kind of liquid storage. I always used a opaque plastic container and using a clear version makes for better viewing of contents.
It fits nicely on my refrig shelf and not that unwieldy gallon container which at times may prove to be too heavy for some.
It has some advantages and one being spill-proof.I usually find a full gallon container of juice or otherwise kind of awkward since I'm disabled and sometimes mismanage the handling of heavy items when serving myself or others.
I haven't found use for the sports lid yet, but time will tell. Its heavy duty and quite efficient as a drip-proof cover.
The jug is perfect for camp-outs or picnics too.
