(More customer reviews)I purchased this type of bottle holder instead of one that attaches below the seat because I thought it would be easier to install and easier to reach the bottle. I bought one for my bike, and one for my husband's bike.

My husband installed them and said they were a pain to get on. The screws are teeny tiny and very long and he had to unscrew it all the way, then screw it all the way back in to tighten. It took him a while. And it didn't even fit on my bike. My bike handles are too small for this holder to fit tightly, rendering the holder completely useless. We may be able to attach it to the rubber part of the handles or to a different part of my bike, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

So, the moral of the story is that IF it fits your bike, it's handy, but beware that it doesn't fit all bikes.
