I've had other metal waterbottles that were either too light to take much use, or had too many plastic parts attached (spouts and such) that just made it wear out faster. The stainless steel used in this bottle gives it a good weight in your hand, plenty of durability, and avoids the negative health effects of aluminum (aluminum is linked to alzheimers as well as having various other ill effects). The lid is also one solid piece of plastic, which means that it won't break easily. This is a great bottle for the value, easy to use, easy to clean, and durable.
